PRIDE IS SWEET: MEXICAN RECIPE IDEAS FOR PRIDE MONTH

It's Pride month and you know what that means! It's time show show pride in nuestros raices and in ourselves, and what better way to treat ourselves than with some sweet, Mexican recipes ideas. 

Pride Polvorones

Ingredients

• 1 bag of La Monarca Polvorones
• 2 drops any color liquid food color

In a small resealable plastic bag, combine polvorones and a few drops of food coloring. Seal bag and shake to tint the sugar. Allow cookies to dry on flat surface for 15-20 minutes before using!

Frozen Mexican Drinks 
w/ Rainbow Marshmallows 🌈

Blended Mexican Chocolate: Large (20 oz)

1. Add Ice -1.5 cups
2. Add La Monarca Bakery Chocolate Mexicano Mix, measure according to tin 
3. Add  4oz. Half & Half
4. Add all of the ingredients into the blender. 
5. Once blended, place the beverage in a cup 
6. Add toppings such as Whipped cream with 2 shakes of chocolate powder

1. Add Ice -1.5 cups
2. Add 1 Shot of espresso (for Latte version)
3. Add 2 Vanillas Pumps
4. Add La Monarca Bakery Champurrado Mix, measure according to tin
5.  Add  4oz. Half & Half
6. Add all of the ingredients into the blender. 
7. Once blended, place the beverage in a cup 
8. Add toppings such as whipped cream with 2 shakes of ground cinnamon 

And finally, top with multicolored or rainbow-shaped marshmallows! It's the perfect excuse to enjoy a blended drink AND add a little Pride!
