La Monarca Bakery Featured On Netflix's "The Lincoln Lawyer"

Netflix just released Season 3 of their popular show called "The Lincoln Lawyer." It's about defense attorney Mickey Haller (starring Manual Garcia-Rulfo) who works out of his Lincoln Navigator in Los Angeles. Mickey is a foodie, so authentic Los Angeles food is threaded throughout the season.

In the beginning of Season 3/Episode 5, La Monarca Bakery's vanilla and chocolate mini-conchas, along with our orange pan dulce box, cafecito and beverage carafes, are featured on the screen and in the script! We are super grateful to showrunners Dailyn Rodriguez and Ted Humphrey for the shout-out.

Let’s share our Hispanic heritage celebration with other Churro Cookie or Dulce de Leche lover friends! Let’s spread the sweetness of Hispanic Heritage Month by making these Churro Cookie Dulce De Leche Ice Cream Sandwiches together! 🧡

How to make Churro Cookie Dulce de Leche Ice Cream Sandwiches:

  1. Freeze Häagen-Dazs® Dulce de Leche Ice Cream (14 fl oz pint) for 20 to 30 minutes or until firm enough to hold its shape.
  2. Grab a stainless plate, tray, or wood board and place parchment paper on top of it.
  3. Take the Häagen-Dazs® Dulce de Leche Ice Cream out of the freezer for 2-4 minutes before assembling Churro Cookie Dulce De Leche Ice Cream Sandwiches.
  4. Place 8 La Monarca Churro Cookies in 2 rows of 4 on top of the parchment paper.
  5. Place 1 scoop of Häagen-Dazs® Dulce de Leche Ice Cream  (about 1/4 cup or 45g) on top of one row of 4 Churro Cookies and gently spread the ice cream to the edges.
  6. Sandwich a La Monarca Bakery Churro Cookie on top of the ice cream, then pick up the assembled ice cream sandwich and gently press it all together in the center to make a compact Churro Cookie Dulce De Leche Ice Cream Sandwich.
  7. Place all 8 completed Churro Cookie Dulce De Leche Ice Cream Sandwiches back on the plate, tray, or board. Serve immediately or wrap in plastic wrap and freeze for 2 hours before serving.
