Boorejitas – Ghost Orejita Cookies 👻
INGREDIENTS:
- 1-2 Bags of La Monarca Bakery's Mini Orejitas
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2-3 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Eyeball Sprinkles
- Black Icing Pen or Black Food Coloring
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Stir fresh lemon juice into powdered sugar until desired consistency is achieved
- Dip the bottom of the Orejita into the glaze
- Add two eyeball sprinkles
- Draw on the mouth with icing pen or mix a separate bowl of icing with black food coloring. Then use a toothpick or anything small to dip in the black icing and draw the mouth.
- Dry on a rack or on wax paper
Pumpkin Patch Orejitas
INGREDIENTS:
- 1-2 Bags of La Monarca Bakery's Mini Orejitas
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2-3 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Orange food coloring
- Edible sugar leaves OR Matcha pocky sticks (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Stir fresh lemon juice into powdered sugar until desired consistency is achieved, then add a few drops of orange food coloring.
- Dip the bottom of the Orejita into the glaze
- Add a sugar leaf or the tip of a green matcha pocky stick as the pumpkin "stem" (optional)
- Dry on a rack or on wax paper
